Try-it-Out Mini Session

Service Description

This 90 Minute class is the perfect "taste" of what it's like to work on the pottery wheel. I provide everything you need (clay, tools, etc). I'll do all the prep work, so when you arrive we'll quickly get acquainted, I'll give you a quick demo, and the rest of the time you'll be working on the wheel! Wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty, and/or bring an old towel or apron. Clay will easily wash out of anything you bring. There is no commitment to make and keep something. If you just want to come and experience the wheel, this is the perfect way to do it. You do have the option at the end to choose one item to keep. Leave it with me... I will work my magic and just a few weeks later, you'll receive a trimmed and glazed ceramic piece to keep, use, and enjoy, or let it serve as a memory of this really fun thing you experienced! This is also a great experience to share with another person. I am able to book two people at a time for these mini sessions. I am willing to take students under 16 if accompanied by an adult. To secure your date, I will ask for a deposit of half of the class price, with the remaining half due on the day of instruction.

Cancelation Policy

Cancellations with full reimbursement will be accepted up to 5 days prior to the start date of a class or workshop. If you request a cancellation with less than 5 days before the class start date, you will be partially reimbursed, less $50 for the preparation of the materials you would have used in the class.
