All Melissa Michael ClayArt pieces are made by hand. Therefore, no two pieces will be precisely identical. These subtle differences, including variations of materials or marks left behind from the making process are to be celebrated, as it emphasizes the beauty of your one-of-a-kind ClayArt piece.  

 

I design all of my pottery with the intention that it will be used and enjoyed in an everyday manner. Although it is meant to withstand trips through the dishwasher and microwave (for short amounts of time) I recommend taking gentle care of all pieces. Wash by hand if possible. As with all ceramic dishware, there is a possibility of breaking if dropped or bumped against hard surfaces. *Any piece with gold details should not be put in the microwave.  The gold is a real precious metal and would react or spark.

Damages & Issues:

Please inspect your pieces upon receipt in the mail.  If an item is defective, damaged, or you receive the wrong piece, photograph it in the packaging and contact me immediately so I can evaluate the issue and try to correct it. Please note that after unboxing your item and using it, I cannot offer refunds or exchanges.
